“BIG LIE” FILMS WILL REVEAL HOW TRUTH ABOUT PALESTINE HAS BEEN SUPPRESSED
Three films to be screened in Southsea in January promise to reveal how the truth about the horrific events in Palestine have been “ruthlessly suppressed” by the British establishment.
Produced by award-winning Platform Films, the “Big Lie” documentaries show how people speaking out for the Palestinian cause have been smeared, sacked and and even put in prison.
The first of the films, “Oh Jeremy Corbyn – The Big Lie tells how Corbyn’s support for the Palestinian cause was a key factor in his downfall as Labour Party leader. The second film, “Starmer and the Genocide”, tells the story of the huge protests sparked by Israel’s actions in Gaza and the controversial role of Corbyn’s successor, Keir Starmer,.
Now the third and latest of the films, “Big Lie III: Censoring Palestine”, will be released in January. This will explore how the truth about Palestine is being suppressed not only in the mainstream TV and papers, but in education, entertainment, and even in social media.
Most sinister of all, the new film will spotlight how the counter-terrorism laws are now being ruthlessly abused to silence protest by pro-Palestine activists.
Director Chris Reeves said: “Together the films tell a story of a rotten and corrupt British establishment which is conspiring with Israel and the US to exterminate the innocent people of Palestine. It is a truly terrifying picture.”
Producer Norman Thomas said: “What I find most disturbing is the way counter-terrorism laws are being used to silence those who protest about the genocide. In many ways it looks like we’re heading for a police state. We have to expose the truth of what’s going on — but above all, we must try to stop it.”
